The new Google logo, which was launched today, has left everybody excited about what it's all about. The new logo is a depiction of an email, with all the notations associated with emails. Google's new logo makes people think of their emails – in more ways than one! Here are a few of the associations, users can expect when they see the new logo:
The first association people will notice is that the Gmail icon is in the shape of an email. This is, of course, a direct representation of the way people use the service. People love to use this service like a mainframe computer where all their emails are stored. The new logo makes them think of their email in this way.
Another visual cue, you can expect to see in the new logo is that it looks like a person is typing on the keyboard. Many email clients have a feature where you can customize your keyboard, so if you were using one before the new logo, you will notice that the feature has been modified to incorporate the new logo. If you type an email address into the address bar, instead of seeing only the subject, there will be a preview of what's available. When you click on the preview, you'll get more information about the email, such as who wrote it and when. This is very convenient and it makes checking your email a much faster process.
The color of the email window will also be different depending on which service you are using for your emailing needs. When you look at the email client, you'll see that your address has a green border instead of the usual gray border. You should also be able to customize the font color on your email client, so make sure to click on the color options on the customize button to change the color of your current mailbox. You will also be able to change this border color with any other color, as well as change the background color of the box.
The email account layout should look exactly the same as it does now. The header should be the same and the body and footer will be the same color as well. It may be necessary for you to scroll down to the footer since it's been changed, but it should still read as you like. There should be a link that says Terms in the top right corner of the page. This link should be clicked, so that you can read more about the privacy policies and agreements that Google offers for their email accounts.
If you haven't got a Gmail account yet, you'll be able to request one from them. All you need to do is go to'Account settings' and click 'New'. Fill in the details and click next until you are finally ready to get started. When the process is complete, you will see the new Gmail logo as your login!
